Junior Junction childcare aims to provide an environment where children (from 3 months to 5 years old) can develop as independent thinkers and learners. We provide a play based program where children are free to explore, socialize, communicate and investigate. Each daycare centre strives to create a learning rich environment which reflects the individual interests of every child in our care.
Through careful planning and review, supported by passionate, qualified and experienced teachers we believe your child's learning will be enhanced and extended. We strive to prepare our children for their future educational and social challenges, giving them a solid foundation to build upon.

Highly Qualified Daycare Teachers to Assist Early Child Development
We operate with a minimum of 80% qualified staff, supported by an internal mentor to maintain their registration with the NZ Teachers Council.
At all our centres we exceed recommended staff-to-child ratios for all rooms and are committed to on-going staff training. Qualified Teachers hold a Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education. A majority of our staff are trained in CPR and First-Aid.
Programs are planned around the child’s ongoing development, and are documented in their individual portfolios containing photos, observations and reflections. Parents can access all of their child’s information through our on-line Educa portal.
Healthy Hearts and Minds
When you enter our doors you will smell beautifully prepared meals and baking that is prepared fresh each day by our full-time in-house chefs. We design our menu around the Heart Foundation’s “healthy heart” requirements and each of our centres have achieved or close to achieving the gold standard certification.
We observe a “low-sugar” policy in the interest child health and nutrition. Our chef prepares fresh vegetable mash daily for babies and a fully cooked lunch for toddlers and preschool children. Morning and afternoon tea are also provided. Fruit is provided every day. We also provide for special dietary requirements like vegetarian options, food allergies, and cultural considerations.
To mitigate allergies all Junior Junctions are nut free.
