Angii is our head teacher in preschool. Orginally from South Africa she is primary school trained and experienced mainly in new entrants. Angii believes that passion and humour goes hand in hand when it comes to teaching children of any age, with the ability to laugh at yourself daily a firm must. Learning is journey that every child should enjoy and not dread. "My entire teaching philosophy is encompassed in the proverb Show me and I will see, tell me and I will hear, involve me and I will understand”.
We see every child as a unique individual. Our planning in preschool will aim to build children's self confidence and resilience, helping them to get ready for the big leap to becoming a new entrant at school.
